User Personas

Users typically fall into one of the following 4 personas:

1. Researcher

2. Shopper

3. Buyer

4. Owner

  1. The researcher persona represents the user that is fairly early in their consideration and research of buying apparel. The research phase may last weeks, even months, and is sometimes time-limited due to an upcoming event. They are likely gathering input via word of mouth, firsthand experiences with similar products, researching and reading online and may have begun consideration based on an 'event' e.g. upcoming sports season, promotional event, or company gathering.
     
  2. The shopper persona represents the user who has done their basic research, they are fairly set on buying some apparel, they just aren't sure which styles and likely need to understand what separates each brand and overcome their concerns about size, fit and quality, and return policy. 
     
  3. The buyer persona represents the user who is directly working with the customer on finalizing the sale, ensuring all is ready for the next phase of production e.g. screen and garment printing, embroidery, etc. 
     
  4. The owner persona represents a customer that owns a product. They may have received a garment as part of a previous event and want to order the same style again, or recently purchased some garments for a recent promotion and are in the market to purchase some more.
