Here is some food for thought that may help you maintain a positive attitude and overcome any negativity that may surface in your life from time to time.
Let's pretend for a moment that you had $86,400 in your bank account right now (that'd be nice, wouldn't it?) Now, let's say someone stole $20 from you. Would you be so upset that you would throw away all of the remaining $86,380 just to try to get back at the thief? Or, would you just forgive them and move on?
The answer is obvious. You would just forgive them and move on.
We all start with 86,400 seconds each day. Don't let someone's negative 20 seconds ruin the remaining 86,380 seconds you have left. Maintain a positive attitude and try to remember that those 20 seconds are just a drop in the bucket. Life won't always go according to plan, and it's inevitable that you will run into negative people from time to time (especially if you have any customer-facing job.) Just remember, your attitude determines your altitude and the sooner you can overcome or brush off negative interactions, the sooner you can start living a happier and more fulfilling life of positivity and love. Lead by example, lift up those around you and try not to let small mishaps shape the rest of what could otherwise be a wonderful day.
